A place for your files
Markdown, code, PDFs, images, and media. Bring a file into view, or open a project and move between its tabs.
A little room to think
A clearing
for your files.
A calm place to read your files, write your Markdown, and see things a little more clearly.
Glade is a themeable file viewer and editor for your Mac. Your documents, code, images, and ideas — with space around them.

The idea behind Glade
Your files.
A fresh perspective.
A glade is a clearing where the light comes through. That’s the feeling we’re building: familiar files, easier to spend time with.
Words, with room to breathe
Edit Markdown and switch between source and rendered views. Keep the structure close and the words in focus.
Make the space your own
Adjust themes, fonts, and reading size. Shape the view around the way you like to read.
A little depth beneath the calm
And when it’s
time to speak.
There’s a teleprompter tucked inside. Local speech recognition follows your voice and advances your script as you read.
For the moments when your words need to be heard.
Coming soon
A little more clarity
is on the way.
Glade is in development.
We’re making room for something thoughtful.
